Music festivals in Limassol to take place in July 2026

Limassol will host two distinct musical events in July 2026. The 21st Cyprus World Music Festival is scheduled from July 8 to July 21, featuring five concerts at the Rialto Theatre and open-air venues. Organizers note that the event is now part of the European Association of Festivals, with most concerts being free, though reservations are required for the event on July 8. Separately, the International Music Day festival, organized by the Alliance Française Limassol and the Municipality of Limassol, will take place on July 20 and 21. This event involves over 50 musicians performing across the city center and the embankment. Activities include a samba parade by Batukinio on July 20 and performances by various groups including the Limassol Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra, Demetris Mesimeris Band, and Bazook. Both festivals aim to showcase a blend of local and international musical traditions ranging from jazz and funk to rebetiko.
