Neapolis University Pafos hosts first graduation ceremony for joint civil engineering program

On Saturday, June 13, Neapolis University Pafos held a ceremony to mark the graduation of the first cohort of students from its joint undergraduate program in Civil Engineering. This program is conducted in academic partnership with the Baoding University of Technology in China. Notable attendees included the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to China, Koula Sophianou, and the Rector of Neapolis University Pafos, Professor Pantelis Sklias. Also in attendance were Professor Yiannis Bellos, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, and Program Coordinator Professor Joao Mendes. The initiative represents a bilateral academic collaboration aimed at fostering research in infrastructure and professional development. University officials described the ceremony as a milestone for international educational cooperation between Cyprus and China. The joint program intends to continue focusing on academic excellence and future collaborative research projects.
