Panathinaikos considers Inaki Pena as a potential goalkeeper option

Panathinaikos is currently evaluating potential candidates to strengthen its goalkeeper position, with Barcelona's Inaki Pena emerging as a target. The 27-year-old Spanish goalkeeper has a contract with Barcelona valid until 2029 and a reported market value of 4 million euros. Pena has an extensive background in youth academies, having started at Villarreal before joining Barcelona and spending time on loan at Elche and Galatasaray. During his loan spell at Elche, he recorded 16 appearances in La Liga. In addition to the interest in Pena, Panathinaikos maintains an active interest in Odysseas Vlachodimos as an alternative for the position. Both players are currently listed as high-priority targets for the Greek club. The team's management is expected to decide in the coming days whether to initiate formal negotiations for the Spanish goalkeeper.
