Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus holds 65th annual general meeting

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) marked its 65th anniversary during its annual general meeting. Finance Minister Makis Keravnos read a message from President Nikos Christodoulides, acknowledging the organization's role in the national economy and regulatory transparency. New General Director Andreas Papadatos discussed the impact of artificial intelligence and geopolitical shifts on the accounting profession. Following the meeting, ICPAC announced the composition of its new Board of Directors. Odysseas Christodoulou was re-elected as President, and Andreas Andreou remains as Vice President. Other members include Eleni Pyrgou as Secretary, along with twelve board members. The leadership reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining professional standards and supporting the competitiveness of the Cypriot business environment.
