21-year-old arrested for drug possession in Paralimni

On Thursday at approximately 6:00 p.m., members of the Cyprus Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) arrested a 21-year-old man in Paralimni, Famagusta district. Officers observed the suspect on a motorcycle retrieving items from the ground in an open area. Upon interception, authorities seized 11 grams of cocaine found in a plastic container and two nylon bags, alongside a precision scale. A further search of the suspect's motorcycle revealed a shoulder bag containing two grams of cannabis, €3,960 in cash, and two mobile phones.
