Investigation opened following death of German woman in Halkidiki

An 83-year-old German woman was found dead in her home in Nikiti, Halkidiki, on Thursday, June 18. The discovery was made by the woman's daughter, who alerted the police at approximately 14:15. While one source reported that the woman had been deceased for over 20 days, police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. The scene inside the house showed signs of disarray, and the woman was found in a partially undressed state.
