Beauty Line Art Foundation announces 2026 artist residency program
The Beauty Line Art Foundation (BAF) has announced the second edition of its Residency: Studio Mentoring Program, scheduled to take place in Nicosia from September 21 to December 11, 2026. The program is designed to support emerging artists based in Cyprus and the diaspora, spanning various disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, and performance. Participants will receive access to equipped studios, professional mentorship, financial support, and promotional assistance. Mentors and judges for the 2026 edition include Maria Loizidou, Maria Stathi, Elpida Frangeskidou, and Andreas Stylianou. The residency will feature open studios, workshops, and artist talks to facilitate creative dialogue. The project concludes with a public group exhibition, and selected works produced during the residency will be added to the foundation's permanent collection. BAF Board Chair Maria Papakonstantinou stated that the initiative serves as an investment in the future of contemporary Cypriot art.
