Two separate road accidents reported in Limassol area on Friday

On Friday morning, June 19, two distinct traffic accidents occurred in the Limassol region. In the first incident on the Paphos-Limassol motorway near the Kandou exit, a 33-year-old woman lost control of her car, hit a central triangular island, and crashed into protective railings. Both the driver and her 9-year-old daughter, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, were injured and transported to Limassol General Hospital. Their condition is reported to be out of danger, and the Episkopio Police Station is investigating the cause. In a separate incident on Omonia Avenue in Limassol, a woman's vehicle overturned after allegedly being cut off by a double-cab truck emerging from a side street. The woman was transported to the hospital suffering from shock, though initial reports indicated no visible physical injuries. Police are currently investigating both separate traffic events.
