Cyprus Theatre Organization signs new collective agreement with actors' unions

On Thursday, June 18, the Cyprus Theatre Organization (THOC) signed a renewal of the collective agreement for actors, extending the contract until December 31, 2028. The agreement was signed by representatives from THOC, the Cyprus Actors Union (EHK), and the theatrical artists of SIDIDEK-PEO. Signatories for THOC included President Pantelis Voutouris and Secretary Savvas Charalambous. Representing the unions were EHK President Andreas Tselepos, OYYK-SEK General Secretary Michalis Kazamias, SIDIDEK-PEO General Secretary Nikos Grigoriou, and Secretary of the Theatrical Artists Branch Christina Konstantinou. The ceremony was also attended by former OYYK-SEK General Secretary Elissaios Michail, THOC Vice President Anthi Antoniadou, and several board members from the involved organizations. The agreement aims to maintain the existing framework for professional labor relations within the state theatre. All parties expressed satisfaction with the continuation of the collaborative framework established in previous years.
