The City of Dreams Mediterranean resort hosted a poker tournament from May 21 to May 24. The event attracted both local and international participants, recording a total of 635 entries and re-entries. While the competition featured an initial guaranteed prize pool of €100,000, the final total reached €216,351. The tournament proceeded over four days and was managed by the resort staff. The organizers reported that the event reached full capacity during its run. The Cyprus Gaming Commission issued a mandatory responsible gambling warning alongside reports of the event, emphasizing that gambling involves risks of addiction and financial loss. The resort remains the first integrated casino resort in Europe to host such international-standard gaming events.
