Recent Russian strikes cause multiple casualties across Ukraine
Russian strikes over the past few days have resulted in casualties across several Ukrainian regions. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, attacks by drones and artillery killed an eight-year-old girl in Pavlohrad and injured others. Strikes on two civilian vessels in the Black Sea, flagged to Panama and St. Kitts and Nevis, left one sailor dead and five injured. In Kharkiv, aerial bombardments damaged a residential district, resulting in one death and at least 10 injuries, including children. Additionally, attacks in the Sumy region caused two deaths and two injuries, while strikes in Kramatorsk led to three deaths and six injuries near residential infrastructure. Infrastructure belonging to the DTEK energy group in the Dnipropetrovsk region also sustained significant damage. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed the interception of 239 drones in one instance and 187 in another, though these figures remain unverified. Local authorities in both countries have provided conflicting reports regarding the scope and targets of these military engagements.
