Lemissoler Group donates 45,000 euros to the Cyprus University of Technology student welfare association
The shipping company Lemissoler Group has donated 45,000 euros to the Student Welfare Association of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). These funds were raised during an annual charity walk organized by the company. The contribution is intended to support students facing financial and social difficulties with their academic and living expenses. Lemissoler Group, founded in Limassol in 1996, is an international shipping firm specializing in dry bulk transport and vessel management. Philippos Philis, the group's founder and CEO, holds an honorary doctorate from the university and serves as a guest lecturer. This donation is part of a long-standing collaboration between the private entity and the academic institution aimed at supporting the local student community in Limassol.
