Ministry of Education publishes official solutions for Modern Greek exams

On June 19, 2026, the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture published the official answer key for the Modern Greek examination. The test was originally administered on June 8 to 5,139 candidates seeking admission to public higher education institutions in Cyprus and Greece. The exam consisted of three distinct parts. The first part required students to analyze a text concerning ethical criticisms and advertising. The second part featured questions on Kostas Montis's 'Third Letter to Mother', Yiannis Ritsos's 'Farewell', and an unseen text passage from Claire Angelidou's 'Grigoris Afxentiou'. The final section included an excerpt from I.M. Panagiotopoulos's literary work 'Astrofeggia'. All documents are now available on the official website of the Ministry's Examination Service.
