KEANITA and Hope For Children launch campaign to promote child support helpline
The beverage brand KEANITA and the Hope For Children CRC Policy Center have launched a joint initiative titled 'No Child Invisible' to increase awareness of the 1466 child support helpline. The project involves printing the 1466 number on KEANITA juice packaging and integrating it into the KEANITA mobile application to ensure widespread accessibility across Cyprus. The announcement was made during a conference held at the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, attended by Minister Athena Michaelidou and Commissioner for the Protection of Children's Rights Elena Perikleous. The 1466 helpline operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing free and anonymous psychological, social, and legal support. It assists children experiencing violence, neglect, bullying, and cyber-exploitation, while also offering guidance to parents. The campaign aims to ensure that children in difficult situations receive timely help. Officials emphasized that this partnership strengthens existing efforts to protect young people from modern challenges such as abuse and addiction.
