Omonia FC pursues Israeli midfielder Dor Peretz

Omonia FC is currently negotiating with 31-year-old Israeli international midfielder Dor Peretz, who is set to leave Maccabi Tel Aviv. The club has reportedly submitted an offer exceeding 500,000 euros annually to sign the player. Competition for Peretz includes Dinamo Zagreb and Ferencváros, with reports suggesting that Dinamo Zagreb may have submitted the highest financial bid to date. Peretz recently traveled to Zagreb for discussions, but Omonia remains actively involved in the recruitment process. The player is expected to make a final decision on his future within the next 24 to 48 hours. Additionally, Omonia is evaluating other defensive options, including Igor Silva for the right-back position. The team has already begun medical examinations in preparation for the upcoming season, with training sessions scheduled to move to Kyperounta on Monday.
