Fete de la Musique 2026 to be held in Limassol

Alliance Francaise Limassol, in collaboration with the Limassol Municipality and the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus, will host the Fete de la Musique festival on June 20 and 21, 2026. The event will take place in the historic center of Limassol at the Castle Square. The festival, which has been organized in the city since 1987, aims to showcase diverse musical genres. On Saturday, June 20, at 7:00 p.m., Mayor Giannis Armeutis and Alliance Francaise President Dr. Niki Papadopoulou-Papa will officially open the event. The program includes a musical parade by the 50-member percussion group Batukinio starting at 6:30 p.m. on June 20, followed by concerts including the group Kingofeye. Access to all festival activities is free for the public. Local radio station Kanal 6 will provide live coverage of the opening on Saturday between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
