Paralimni-Deryneia municipality to install cameras and weather stations at beaches

The Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia announced on Saturday a project to install live surveillance cameras and meteorological stations at its organized beaches. The initiative is designed to provide real-time updates to the public, including beach conditions, weather data, and water temperature. The municipality stated that this technology aims to facilitate better trip planning for visitors and improve general service quality. Recently, the municipality received 18 Blue Flags for its coastal areas, marking the highest total for any municipality in Cyprus. The project serves as an upgrade to existing infrastructure at these popular locations. By providing remote access to live footage and environmental data, officials intend to enhance public safety and user experience.
