Road construction and traffic regulations in Limassol

The Municipality of Limassol has announced two distinct traffic management projects. First, as part of the sewer construction project on Myrtou Street in the Mesa Geitonia district, a temporary fixed traffic light system will be installed. This system will operate until July 24, 2026, in accordance with the 2015 Public Works Department standards. Second, road paving works are scheduled for a section of Gladstonos Street. This specific road segment, spanning from the Pentadromos traffic lights to the junction with Evripidou Street, will be closed to traffic. The closure is effective from 14:00 on Saturday, June 20, 2026, until 06:00 on Monday, June 22, 2026. Motorists are advised that failure to comply with the regulations regarding the Myrtou Street project may result in penalties under municipal laws.
