President Christodoulides meets with US congressional delegation

President Nikos Christodoulides hosted a bipartisan US congressional delegation at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia on Saturday. The delegation included Nathaniel Moran, Jim Costa, Brendan Boyle, and Craig Goldman, who visited Cyprus to attend the 91st Transatlantic Legislators’ Dialogue held on June 19 and 20. The discussions centered on strengthening bilateral cooperation in energy, investment, defense, and security, as well as the ongoing strategic dialogue between the two nations. President Christodoulides emphasized that deepening transatlantic relations is a key priority for the upcoming Cypriot Presidency of the EU Council. The parties also reviewed the latest developments regarding the Cyprus problem and the situation in the Middle East. The US lawmakers commended the Republic of Cyprus for its ongoing contributions to regional security and stability.
