Karmiotissa signs French defender Sadio Dembele

Karmiotissa has officially announced the signing of 23-year-old French central defender Sadio Dembele. Born on March 20, 2003, and standing 1.96 meters tall, Dembele previously played for clubs in France, Germany, and Bulgaria. His youth career began at Livry-Gargan and Montfermeil before he joined the Auxerre academy, later moving to Paris FC. He gained international experience in Germany with Aalen and joined CSKA 1948 Sofia in the summer of 2025. Last season, he was on loan to Lokomotiv Sofia, where he appeared in 24 league matches. The player is recognized for his physical strength and aerial ability, capable of playing as a central defender or a defensive midfielder. Reports indicate he joined the club following his departure from CSKA 1948 Sofia.
