Ronaldinho reported to join Italian club Ravenna
Former Brazilian football star Ronaldinho, aged 46, is reportedly set to return to professional football. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the player is expected to join the Italian Serie C club Ravenna, with an official announcement planned for June 23 at an event in Miami. This marks his return to the pitch following his retirement in January 2018 after his time with Fluminense. While he will be registered as a player, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the move is primarily symbolic and commercial in nature. It is anticipated that his participation will be limited to a single official match. The agreement is reportedly linked to an investment plan for the club led by Ignazio Cipriani. Ronaldinho is expected to attend both the Miami presentation event and the official team launch in August.
