Actor Spyros Papadopoulos discusses his views on aging and relationships
In a recent interview on the show 'Kalimera eipame?', actor Spyros Papadopoulos shared his perspectives on aging and divorce. He stated that he has never experienced a mid-life crisis, maintaining that he feels mentally like a child of about 10 or 12 years old. Regarding divorce, the actor argued that it should not be viewed as a personal failure. Instead, he characterized the act of ending a marriage as a natural occurrence, noting that it may even be more natural than marriage itself. He defined a true failure as observing elderly couples, married for 40 to 50 years, who continue to argue in their 80s. Papadopoulos acknowledged that he occasionally reflects on the passage of time and the reality of aging figures. Professionally, he expressed a preference for comedy roles but remains open to any character that sparks his interest. He emphasized that he avoids viewing his life through the lens of traditional societal failures.
