Temporary traffic regulations on Faneromeni Avenue in Larnaca

From June 22 to August 17, 2026, the Municipality of Larnaca is implementing traffic changes on Faneromeni Avenue due to Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan construction work. The project involves building pedestrian crossings, sidewalks, green spaces, and asphalt paving along a 1,000-meter section between the Kamara and Faneromeni roundabouts. The direction from the Kamara roundabout toward the city center will be closed to traffic. Vehicles heading to the city center must detour via Nikou and Despoinas Pattichi Avenue, Kalymnou Street, Agiou Georgiou Makri Street, Kaisareias Street, and 1is Apriliou Street. Traffic from the city center toward the Kamara roundabout will be restricted to the left lane, as the right lane will be closed. Additionally, one-way traffic regulations on Verias, Parou, Naxou, Aigaiou, and Pierias streets will be temporarily lifted, and these streets will operate as cul-de-sacs.
