PAOK did not select Juan Carlos Carcedo as manager

Following the departure of Razvan Lucescu from PAOK, the club evaluated several candidates for the position of head coach. Juan Carlos Carcedo, currently coaching Spartak Moscow and formerly of Pafos FC, was among the names considered. Reports indicate that PAOK executives Leo Matos and Adelino Vieirinha decided against pursuing Carcedo for the role. Additionally, it was revealed that hiring Carcedo would have involved a release clause of 700,000 euros. As a result of the club's decision, the Spanish manager will remain at his current post with Spartak Moscow.
