Apollon Limassol begins 2026-2027 season preparations

Apollon Limassol officially began preparations for the 2026-2027 season on June 22, 2026, with the first squad gathering and medical testing. On-field training sessions commence on June 24 at the Apollon-Columbia training center under coach Hernan Losada. The team is scheduled for a training camp in Enschede, Netherlands, at the Bad Boekelo Resort from July 2 to July 13. During the Dutch camp, Apollon will play a series of friendly matches, including a confirmed fixture against Go Ahead Eagles on July 11. The team will return to face AEK Larnaca on July 16 at the Alphamega Stadium. Priority remains on signing a primary central defender to partner with Josef Kvinda before the Netherlands trip. Apollon's first official match is scheduled for July 23 in the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round against the winner of the Dila Gori and Virtus tie.
