Three killed and five wounded in shooting at Tacloban school

A shooting occurred on Monday morning at approximately 9:00 a.m. local time at San Jose National High School in Tacloban City, Philippines. Three students were killed and five others were injured, with the wounded being transported to medical facilities for treatment. Conflicting reports exist regarding the number of perpetrators: one source states that two suspects were arrested, one of whom is a student, while another source reports that one minor suspect was arrested and a second suspect remains at large. Both suspects were allegedly armed with handguns. The public school serves over 1,500 students. Police have deployed additional security forces to the area to protect the students.
