Student contest on literature concludes in Cyprus
The embassies of Sweden and Finland in Cyprus, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth and the Cyprus Children’s and Youth Book Association, organized a creative contest for primary school students. The event focused on the works of Moomins and Pippi Longstocking to promote values such as acceptance, diversity, and solidarity. A total of 37 students from 12 schools across Cyprus received awards. As a sponsor of the initiative, IKEA provided products to the winning schools to establish dedicated reading corners. The project aims to foster a love for reading and provide functional spaces for student development. Participating organizations expressed satisfaction with the success of the initiative in promoting education and cultural awareness.
