Arrests of two individuals reported in separate theft cases in Cyprus
Cyprus Police have reported the arrest of two separate individuals in connection with theft investigations. A 35-year-old man was arrested on June 22, 2026, at the Oroklini Police Station after being wanted for theft and receiving stolen property offenses committed in the Larnaca district on December 8, 2025. His details had been released publicly on February 19 and June 11, 2026. Following his arrest and questioning, he was charged in writing and released pending a court appearance. Separately, a 42-year-old man was arrested in Nicosia regarding charges of conspiracy to commit a felony and theft. Police had issued his details for public assistance in locating him on June 13, 2026. The Nicosia investigation involves incidents that led to a seven-day search. Both investigations remain ongoing under the supervision of the respective police stations.
