Larnaca Port and Marina development roadmap presentation scheduled
The Cyprus Ports Authority is scheduled to present a comprehensive development roadmap for the Larnaca Port and Marina project on July 2. The presentation will take place during a meeting of the Larnaca City and District Development Committee at the Municipal Social Welfare and Employment Center at 6 p.m. Key components of the plan include the Ports Authority assuming full project management responsibility and the transition of the port into a hybrid facility serving both tourism and commercial traffic. The development strategy outlines the expansion of the marina to accommodate approximately 200 vessels. Additionally, the project encompasses the development of at least 50,000 square meters of land for urban use. The initiative further emphasizes the integration of the Larnaca coastal front. This meeting is part of an ongoing consultation process regarding regional growth for the city and the wider district of Larnaca.
