University of Cyprus holds graduation ceremonies for 2026
The University of Cyprus held its 2026 graduation ceremonies on June 22 and 23. On Monday, June 22, the Medical School, the Faculty of Humanities, and the Faculty of Economics and Management awarded 386 undergraduate degrees. Specifically, 37 students graduated from the Medical School, 94 from the Faculty of Humanities, and 255 from the Faculty of Economics and Management. President Nikos Christodoulides attended this event and presented awards to the top-performing graduates. On Tuesday, June 23, the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences and the Polytechnic School held their ceremony, awarding 403 degrees. This second event was attended by the President of the House of Representatives, Annita Demetriou. Both officials delivered speeches emphasizing the role of education and institutional excellence in social and scientific development. The University Council President, Tasos S. Anastasiou, also commended the graduates for their dedication.
