Upgrades to historical and tourist areas in Paphos

Acting Mayor of Paphos, Angelos Onisiforou, announced ongoing urban development projects across the city. In the historic center, the Esvellia club opposite the City Hall has completed exterior renovations to preserve its architectural identity. A neighboring municipal building is also undergoing full renovation to house administrative services and improve working conditions. Additionally, maintenance and beautification works are being carried out on Agiou Antoniou Street in Kato Paphos. The municipality views this street as a key tourist showcase and priority area for the city council. Officials acknowledge that these efforts require time and coordination, including interventions within private premises, to meet aesthetic and functional standards. The projects aim to enhance both the local infrastructure and the visitor experience.
