Cyprus University of Technology hosts first graduation ceremony in Paphos

On June 22, 2026, the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) held its first-ever graduation ceremony in Paphos at the facilities of the School of Tourism, Hospitality, and Entrepreneurship. Over 100 students from undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as the Cyprus Academy of Tourism and Hospitality, received their degrees. The event was attended by the university's rector Panagiotis Zaphiris, the deputy minister of tourism Kostas Koumis, and other officials. Preceding the graduation, an award ceremony for high-achieving students took place earlier the same afternoon. Rector Zaphiris and Council President Andreas Karakatsanis noted the event as a significant milestone for the university's presence outside Limassol. The School offers programs in Tourism Management, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Business, aimed at preparing professionals for the Cypriot tourism sector. Officials emphasized that this expansion serves as an investment in innovation and sustainable development for the region. The ceremony marks the institution's formal integration into the public university landscape of Paphos.
