AEK Larnaca holds training camp in the Netherlands
AEK Larnaca traveled to Mierlo, Netherlands, on June 29 for a training camp scheduled until July 11, with a 49-member delegation including 29 players. Under coach Mauro Camoranesi, the team is preparing for the new season and upcoming European competitions. The club has already signed eight new players and is looking to add a striker, a midfielder, and a winger to the roster. Due to the 17-player limit for List A, the club is evaluating departures, with Kevin Komar and Danny Enriquez already confirmed to leave. Modou Lamin Marong, a 20-year-old Gambian forward from Samorin, is being considered as a potential under-22 signing. AEK Larnaca president Andros Karapatakis will visit the camp next week to attend friendlies against Helmond Sport on July 4, PAOK on July 7, and Ajax Amsterdam on July 10. Several young players like Matias Gonzalez and Giorgos Loukaidis are expected to be loaned out.
