Apollon Limassol signs defender Connor Goldson
Apollon Limassol has officially signed 33-year-old English central defender Connor Goldson to a two-year contract. The move is part of a broader effort by club president Nikos Kirzis to strengthen the squad under manager Hernan Losada. Goldson joins from Aris Limassol and is expected to partner with Josef Kvinda in central defense, creating a high-profile pairing for the upcoming season. Alongside this major signing, the club has added Greek left-back Konstantinos Balogiannis and Cypriot players Andreas Athanasiou, Leonidas Konomis, and Evangelos Andreou to the roster. Furthermore, management is currently finalizing a deal for striker Alen Ozbolt and is actively seeking an additional forward to replace Ali Youssef. The team aims to improve its competitiveness in domestic competitions and qualify for the Conference League's League Phase. Some departures have also occurred, including Vourou, Lam, and Adoni.
