Implementation of restoration program for fire-affected areas in Limassol
The Coca-Cola HBC Foundation has initiated the implementation phase of the Integrated Regeneration Program for fire-affected villages in the Troodos mountains of Limassol. This project was made possible by a €1 million donation announced in November 2025. The program was originally designed by the MountMed Institute following an initiative by the A. G. Leventis Foundation. Field work is currently being conducted in close cooperation with local communities to provide agricultural guidance and practical solutions. Agronomist and researcher Nikolas Valanidis of MountMed acts as the lead representative for the project's digital campaign. The initiative aims to provide continuous on-site presence and support for local producers. The program is described as an ongoing, organized effort to assist residents impacted by previous wildfires.
