Apollon Limassol announces new appointments in recruitment and scouting
Apollon Limassol has officially announced two key appointments within its football department. Marios Antoniadis, a former player for the club, has been named head of recruitment. Before joining Apollon, Antoniadis worked at the Cyprus Football Association as a coordinator for youth national teams and the FIFA Talent Development Scheme, and holds a UEFA A license and a master's degree in data analytics. Simultaneously, Valantis Kapartis has joined the club as a scout. Kapartis recently retired from his playing career and spent two years focusing on specialized education in the field of scouting. Both men will work in close cooperation with the sports director, Makis Papaioannou. Their primary responsibilities involve identifying and evaluating transfer targets using a combination of human assessment, video analysis, and data-driven methods.
