Department of Road Transport announces update on electric vehicle grant scheme

The Department of Road Transport (TOM) has issued a reminder regarding the 4th Call of the Electric Vehicle Grant Scheme. Vehicle registrations for approved grants must be finalized by June 30, 2026. Required documentation for grant disbursement must be submitted by July 31, 2026. The Department also announced a change in the Category D5 beneficiary list. The preliminary approval for applicant D5.1111 has been canceled due to the failure to upload a vehicle order within the specified deadline. Consequently, a preliminary approval will be sent to the next eligible applicant, number D5.1954, who holds lottery position 667. This applicant is required to submit a vehicle order within the timeframe specified in the notification message.
