Cyprus Airways appoints Andrea Pirlo as official brand ambassador

Cyprus Airways has launched a new marketing campaign featuring Italian football legend and former player Andrea Pirlo as its official brand ambassador. The airline stated that the partnership aims to strengthen its international brand presence and promote Cyprus as a tourism destination. CEO Thanos Paschalis noted that the collaboration aligns with the company's strategy to provide a premium passenger experience. Currently residing in Dubai, Pirlo’s role highlights the airline's connections to Italy and the Middle East, regions where the company operates regular flights. Cyprus Airways maintains direct routes to Milan and Venice, as well as Dubai. The campaign release coincides with the carrier's expanded summer schedule, which includes restored routes to Greek destinations such as Santorini, Preveza, Rhodes, and Skiathos. Additionally, flight frequencies to European hubs like Paris, Barcelona, and Venice have been increased. The promotional video focuses on highlighting the airline’s service quality and the island's culture.
