Maccabi Netanya in negotiations with Marinos Tzionis

Maccabi Netanya, managed by Ronny Levy, has entered negotiations to sign Cypriot winger Marinos Tzionis for the upcoming season. The 24-year-old international, who has 42 caps and five goals for Cyprus, is reportedly open to the move. Tzionis is currently under contract with UTA Arad in Romania and spent the previous season on loan at Cukaricki in Serbia. His professional history also includes stints with Omonia and Sporting Kansas City in the MLS. Israeli media outlet ONE first reported the interest, noting that the team is seeking to strengthen its attacking lineup. Tzionis will turn 25 in less than a month.
