PASYKAF reports support for over 8,700 cancer patients in 2025
During its 38th Annual General Electoral Assembly, the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF) announced that it supported 8,763 patients and their families in 2025. The organization conducted a total of 52,072 meetings across Cyprus throughout the year. Dr. Anna Achilleoudi, President of the Board, highlighted the implementation of two new support programs titled 'SynechiZO' and 'FrontiZO' aimed at counseling and practical assistance. The association also hosted the 'PIO DYNATOI MAZI' conference to promote patient dialogue regarding quality of life. Internationally, PASYKAF collaborated with the European Cancer Organisation to present the 'European Cancer Pulse – Cyprus Country Report' in Nicosia. Additionally, the association participated in 'The Larnaca Call' event in Larnaca to advocate for European cancer policy priorities. These initiatives mark a continuation of the association's 40-year history of providing psychosocial support to cancer patients.
