Cyprus extends student welfare application deadline to July 9, 2026

The Grant and Allowance Service of the Ministry of Finance has extended the deadline for submitting state student welfare applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. The new deadline is July 9, 2026, at 14:00. This extension from the original date of June 25, 2026, was implemented to allow applicants to correct errors found during the initial submission phase. Identified errors include incorrect Alien Registration Numbers (ARC), parents registering as students, and students submitting applications instead of their parents. The service aims to prevent the exclusion of eligible individuals who missed the previous deadline. Applications must be submitted electronically via the portal https://sg-yxe.mof.gov.cy. The ministry clarified that no submissions will be accepted after this final deadline. Applicants are urged to verify the accuracy of their details before final submission.
