University of Nicosia ranked in QS World University Rankings 2027

The University of Nicosia (UNIC) has been placed in the 711-720 band in the QS World University Rankings 2027. This edition evaluated 1,504 higher education institutions globally. UNIC is ranked among the top 200 universities within the European Union and holds the third position among Cypriot universities included in the list. University Rector, Professor Philippos Pouyioutas, stated that the ranking reflects the institution's commitment to academic quality and international outlook. The university noted strong performance indicators in Global Engagement and Employability. Specifically, the institution reported securing high rankings in Global Engagement among Cypriot and Greek universities and third place for Employability Outcomes. These rankings are based on the latest report published for the 2027 academic cycle.
