Miltos Miltiadous elected president of the Cyprus Federation of Patients' Associations

On June 25, 2026, Miltos Miltiadous was elected president of the Cyprus Federation of Patients' Associations (OSAK) during its annual general electoral assembly. He ran unopposed and succeeded Charalambos Papadopoulos, who will transition to the role of secretary. The assembly reviewed the federation's 2023–2026 activity report, approved the financial statements, and finalized the budget for 2026. OSAK represents 43 patient organizations, comprising 39 full members and 4 affiliated members, serving a total of over 90,000 patients across Cyprus. Miltiadous emphasized a commitment to patients' rights, improved health services, and institutional collaboration under the principle of 'nothing about us, without us.' The outgoing administration under Papadopoulos was credited with significant organizational development and reforms during its three-year term.
