Miltos Miltiadous elected president of the Cyprus Patients Associations Federation

The Cyprus Patients Associations Federation (OSAK) held its Annual Pancyprian General Electoral Assembly to elect a new leadership. Miltos Miltiadous was elected president without opposition, succeeding Charalambos Papadopoulos, who will now serve as the organization's secretary. During the assembly, the federation reviewed its 2023–2026 term, approved financial statements, and passed the budget for 2026. OSAK currently represents 43 patient organizations, including 39 full members and 4 associate members, covering over 90,000 patients. The new administration intends to prioritize patient rights advocacy, healthcare service improvement, and increased patient participation in decision-making processes. Miltiadous emphasized a commitment to the principle of 'nothing about us, without us' and pledged to maintain transparent cooperation with all institutional bodies. The outgoing president, Papadopoulos, highlighted the organization's growth and structural development over the past three years.
