AEL Limassol reaches transfer agreements with Hamza Catakovic and Diogo Gomes

AEL Limassol is finalizing the acquisition of 29-year-old Bosnian forward Hamza Catakovic and 25-year-old Portuguese center-back Diogo Gomes. Both players are expected to arrive in Cyprus shortly for medical examinations and contract signings. Catakovic joins from Esenler Erokspor, where he recorded 24 goals and 12 assists in 71 appearances over the last two years. Diogo Gomes previously played for Trofense in the Portuguese third division. Additionally, the team considers the transfers of Andreas Karo and Yannick Gomis to be effectively completed, pending only formal documentation. The club aims to complete 80% of its squad roster before the start of preseason training on July 7th under coach Hugo Martins. Meanwhile, reports suggest the team is also competing with Apollon for the signing of 31-year-old winger Yuri Medeiros.
