APOEL FC discloses financial breakdown of season ticket revenue
The management of APOEL FC, led by president Charis Fotiou, has released a detailed financial report regarding the revenue generated from the first 2,250 season tickets sold. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to transparency and restoring trust between the club's administration and its supporters. The total revenue collected amounts to €446,406. According to the official statement, the funds were allocated to settle several financial obligations. Specifically, €273,694 was used to pay off debts to former players and coaches under existing settlement agreements. Additionally, €71,600 was directed toward the salaries of current players and staff. Operational expenses, maintenance, and utility bills accounted for €38,400. Finally, €62,712 was spent as an advance payment for the team's pre-season preparation and air travel. The board expressed its gratitude to the fans, noting that this collective effort is essential for the club's stability during its centenary year.
