Marko Scepovic announces retirement from professional football
Former Omonoia striker Marko Scepovic has officially announced his retirement from professional football after a 17-year career. During his time at Omonoia from January 2021 to May 2022, he made 41 appearances and scored 15 goals. He also secured three titles with the Cypriot club, including a league championship, a cup, and a super cup. Throughout his career, Scepovic recorded 126 goals and won 10 trophies while playing for various clubs worldwide. He began his journey at FK Partizan and returned there to conclude his playing career. In his announcement, he expressed gratitude to his family, teammates, and coaches who supported him throughout his professional life. He indicated that he is now transitioning to a new phase after closing his chapter as a player.
