Shane Larkin linked to potential transfer from Anadolu Efes to Fenerbahce
Reports suggest that Shane Larkin is negotiating a move from Anadolu Efes to Fenerbahce, ending an eight-year tenure with his current club. Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews indicates the deal is in the final stages and may be signed within 48 hours. Larkin, who is under contract with Efes until 2028, would reportedly pay $400,000 to terminate his contract early. Fenerbahce is expected to sign him for a lower annual salary than his current $4 million. Separately, journalist Dogukan Yildirim reports that Fenerbahce is attempting to facilitate the move by potentially including Omer Yurtseven in the negotiations, as Efes holds his rights in Turkey. The potential transfer remains subject to official confirmation as all parties finalize the terms. Larkin struggled with injuries during the recent season but remains a key figure in the EuroLeague.
