Limassol hosts the 6th Philharmonic Festival

The Municipality of Limassol and the Theotokos Amerikos Argyriou Foundation are organizing the 6th Philharmonic Festival on July 4th and 5th, 2026. On July 4th, starting at 18:00, the Limassol Municipal Philharmonic will perform at the Pavlos Kontides Pier, while the Strovolos Municipality-European University Cyprus Symphonic Band will perform at the Limassol Marina Square. Both ensembles will then parade along the waterfront to the Medieval Castle Square for a joint performance, followed by a concert in the castle courtyard at 19:00. On July 5th, the festival continues with the 'Music in Motion' event starting at 18:00, featuring the Limassol Municipal Philharmonic, the Strovolos-European University Cyprus band, and the Cyprus Police Philharmonic. These three ensembles will parade along the Limassol Molos. Following the parade, they will perform rotating musical programs at the Medieval Castle Square, the Marina Square, and the Old Port Square. The festival concludes on July 5th at 20:00.
