PSI Foundation to host Bill Viola: Unspoken exhibition

The PSI Foundation has announced a new exhibition titled 'Bill Viola. Unspoken', organized in collaboration with the Bill Viola Studio. The exhibition is scheduled to run from 24 April 2026 to 1 August 2026. Curated by the PSI Foundation's Chief Curator, Dimitri Ozerkov, the showcase will feature a selection of major works spanning the artist's career. Bill Viola is recognized as a pioneer of video art whose work explores themes of human existence, birth, death, and cyclical time. The exhibition draws upon philosophical and spiritual influences, particularly Buddhist thought, to examine the artist's approach to perception and transformation. His work is noted for its meditative, slow-paced aesthetic which contrasts with traditional technology-driven media. This exhibition aims to provide viewers with an immersive experience regarding the trajectory of video as a historical art medium.
